The history of NEXUS wine begins with the merger of two companies, Nexus Bodegas & Bodegas Frontaura. NEXUS is young, ambitious, plus located in the ideal region for the production of Tempranillo wine - Ribera del Duero. Bodegas Frontaura was founded in 1574, when the castle FRONTAURA & VICTORIA was built in the historical center of Toro. This wine is a combination of history and progress, which is so necessary for Tempranillo! The name "Tempranillo" comes from the Spanish word "temprano", which means "early". This is due to the fact that the grapes tend to ripen early in the season. Wine made from Tempranillo grapes can have flavors such as cherry, plum, and sometimes a little vanilla or tobacco. It is often aged in barrels, which adds more flavors and a hint of spice.
