Sancerre, a small but celebrated wine-growing region, is known for its vibrant, expressive Sauvignon Blanc. Joseph Mellot has perfected this craft, and his wines became incredibly popular in French bistros in the 1970s, eventually gaining worldwide recognition in restaurants throughout the 1980s.

In 2013, to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Mellot family estate, the legendary "L'Original" series was released. These wines are crafted from meticulously selected grapes and undergo special aging for up to 11 months. The result? A series that exceeded all expectations. Enjoy!
